6 Daily Habits for You

Showing up for ourselves matters, so that we can be our best when we show up for others.

Creating healthy, daily habits doesn’t have to be hard or complicated. Here are a few things to focus on as you get ready for the warmer months:

Drink water. Staying hydrated is so easy, but we do have to be intentional about it. Fill up a pitcher or find a cute water bottle. There are even apps that keep you on track! We often feel run down or sick, and a lot of it comes from dehydration. You can make your water even more fun with a Vitality oil! I like to add a fresh slice of lemon with a drop of Lime Vitality right on it for a super refreshing, hydrating detox that my body needs!

Move your body. Take a yoga class, take a walk, go for a run. Prioritize movement in some form every day. This is where you show up for yourself. Can’t get out of the house with lots of little ones? Wake up early and find a yoga class online. Taking 20 minutes to care for your body daily matters, and it can change your whole perspective.

Ditch the candles. I know, I know – so tempting to fill our homes with the scents of sea air, but I promise you, those synthetic fragrances and harmful paraffins are NOT what you want your family breathing in. You can get even yummier scents throughout your home that actually benefit your health with a diffuser and some blends!

BEACH VACATION: 5 drops Stress Away, 4 drops Tangerine
PINK LEMONADE: 5 drops Lemon, 3 drops Tangerine, 3 drops Jasmine
BEACH BABE: 4 drops Spearmint, 3 drops Bergamot, 3 drops Orange

Keep your energy up with your daily dose of Ningxia Red! This is my go to every single day for all my antioxidants, a natural immune support, and lots of energy. It’s made from wolfberries, pomegranate juice and essential oils and it is so delicious! Make it something special by adding it to your favorite sparkling water over ice – the perfect afternoon refresher!

Get your beauty rest! Sleep is so important in our overall health and our mental outlook! Make sure you’re getting plenty of restful sleep every night. Roll on your favorite essential oils to help you transition your mind to a quiet space: I love Peace & Calming or Tranquil for easy slumber.

Create routine. I know that holidays and time off can be a time of free schedules and going with the flow, but it’s important to create some sense of structure for our kids to function at their best, and for our bodies to stay in tune. When we wake up, when we rest, when we play – all of those things can flourish beautifully when we know what’s coming next!

I love new seasons so much, and all the possibility it holds. Being intentional in these small, easy ways, can so positively impact our experiences all season long!
